If you enjoy books with an interesting build up to the plot and/or romantic love stories then Romeo & Juliet is ideal for you. The conflicts in the plot slowly build up to the end, which is satisfying for me as a reader to know what led to what. The language is used throughout the book so for me it took time to understand and comprehend what was happening. But me being a reader had a hard time trying to figure out the language and what it’s supposed to mean. For example, this quote “Alack, there lies more peril in thine eye / Than twenty of their swords! Look thou but sweet, / And I am proof against their enmity” (2.2) is supposed to be a warning from Juliet to Romeo about their secretive love. Although he language is often quite tough to understand. Shakespeare is remarkably clever in lining up the events for the fate of Romeo & Juliet. Not only does he show the interesting relationship between Romeo & Juliet, but he also shows many other relationships between the other characters in the Montague and Capulet family.
